Maria has worked in financial services for more than 15 years. She started her career in trading as part of which she successfully advised clients on suitable equities and derivatives portfolios. During her trading career, she was often invited to share her views at conferences and financial media (TV, magazines), and published her book ''18 Smart Ways To Improve Your Trading".

She moved into Wealth Management and joined St. James's Place as an Adviser in 2016 because she wanted to be able to offer a wider range of services to her clients. In April 2022 she founded her own Partner Practice of Iris Wealth Management.

She now shares her views at wealth management conferences and business magazines and has been a VouchedFor Top Rated Adviser on the basis of her existing client's reviews for four consecutive years.

Maria has extensive experience working with High Net Worth individuals, couples and families. Her role is to help her clients reach financial security, accumulate, preserve, and pass on wealth in the most tax-efficient way possible, and leave the type of legacy that truly represents them.

Maria is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) and holder of the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning and Advice.

She graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece with a BSc in Civil Engineering and MSc in Structural Engineering, and later graduated from Imperial College London with an MSc in Management.

In addition to her work at Iris, Maria currently serves as the Founding Product Adviser at Avagance*, an AI agentic advisory platform for UK wealth managers.

Maria is passionate about the empowerment of women, financial and otherwise, actively advising the next generation on achieving their professional and personal goals, and about her birthplace, Greece.

In her free time, Maria mentors young women, plays golf, exercises, and visits art exhibitions.
